Position Title: EstimatorReports to: Head of Business DevelopmentThis position is located in Ketchum, ID. Qualified candidates must be able to commute to Ketchum,&nbsp;ID. We build this vision through forward thinking, planning and always representing Peak with the utmost professionalism.Position Purpose:As the Peak Venture Group Estimator you will be the go to point of contact for pre-construction estimating, developing relationships with the trade base and assisting Business Development. Principle Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Estimate construction projects as assigned, using estimating checklist and software to complete.</li><li>Knowledge of and relationship building with trade base, Architects, Developers and Clients.</li><li>Weekly progress meeting with the Head of Business Development.</li><li>Prepare and deliver project handoff meeting with the Operations Team after project award.</li><li>Analyze project documents, perform accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimation and risk assessment</li><li>Coordinate subcontractors during the pre-construction phase</li><li>Prepare and deliver responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ's) and Requests for Pricing (RFP's) as assigned.</li><li>Development and management of the the project bid schedule, securing 100% of the bid deadlines.</li><li>Review bid solicitations and bidding opportunities.</li><li>Prepare Bid Documents, Subcontracts, Prime Contracts, Preliminary Project Schedule.</li></ul>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction activities, sequencing and estimating.</li><li>Familiar with CSI Divisions and work breakdown structure.</li><li>Proficient in interpreting commercial design drawings and specifications, including public work projects.</li><li>Effective interpersonal communication skills.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Construction Management degree or equivalent experience required.</li><li>Minimum of two years experience as a commercial construction project estimator.</li><li>Excellent communication skills when interfacing with trades, architects and owners.
